The Committee on Judicial Policy recommends that the Parliament adopt the Bill on Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of Ukraine (re the Prevention of Usurpation of Land Areas) as a Basis

It was stressed that the Bill (Reg.№3588) envisages the amendments to the article 376 of the civil Code of Ukraine re "the prohibition on the legalization of the property right for the importable property built unauthorized of the person who is not an owner of user of the land area"

The Members of the committee deem that the amendments "will facilitate the protection of the rights of the owners of the land areas and will prevent the usurpation of land areas".
